I’ve lived here for almost 2 years. Everyone I’ve met is friendly and helpful.
The winters are long. But the snow does come and go. The mountains are breathtaking with snow on them.
Home improvement services can be difficult to find. Items purchased here are more expensive than the same item in Canon City. Healthcare is very limited here.
There is a shortage of labor in construction, healthcare, teachers, restaurants and other areas.
