Why Woodinville?

Most people think of Molbaks Nursery when the city of Woodinville is mentioned. But, there is so much more to this small city than just a great nursery. Woodinville has become a destination for wine connoisseurs with several well known wineries opening up shop here. Additionally, the Herb Farm, once located in Fall City has been operating in Woodinville for several years now. Add to these fantastic retail venues the miles of walking and biking trails, county parks and lakes, and affordable(relatively speaking) housing, and there's no better place to be.
Most of the residents in Woodinville commute to the major business locations in Redmond (home of Microsoft), Bellevue and Seattle. The average commute time to downtown Bellevue during non-commute hours is about 20 minutes, or 30 minutes to Seattle. The median home price in 2007 was $516,000, up from $366,500 in 2006.
