Safe and Clean but pricey and FRIGID

First of all, I have no idea where that drug and murder capital comment came from. I had business in Minneapolis for 4 weeks earlier this year and these my impressions. The hiawatha light rail is just spectacular. It takes you from the Mall of america all the way to the warehouse district.
The city is EXTREMELY safe and clean. My personal favorite part is "Little Mogadishu" near the university. Tons of Somalians everywhere! I felt like I was in New York!
I checked out condos and was shocked at the prices. These are Denver/Seattle prices but you have to put up with really sucky weather for those prices. I could see paying Atlanta/Dallas prices for condos and apartments, but nothing more. When I was there it got to 97 degrees and I've also seen it at 30 below. Too many extremes for me.
