Review of Las Veg,

Vintage Vegas Neighborhood of Shakers & Movers
Star Rating - 11/15/2008
A resident in the Historic District of Las Vegas is surrounded by people who helped shape Las Vegas. Tree lined streets provided cooling shade in the hot 100 degrees summer brings. Custom home on oversized 1/2 acre lots are a joy to look at while walking with your children and pets. One of the few remaining neighborhoods to close off public access on a summer day and throw a neighborhood block party. Neighbors gather in the afternoon till dark and set out lawn chairs and tables for pot luck and drinks, exchange in conversation, while children play. A real sense of community without the control of any homeowner association. Some of these residents are 2nd and 3rd generation Nevadan's whose roots date back to the gold mining days and early casino development. Michael Jackson is one the recent celebrities to move in. Myself a 40 year resident, would not want to live anywhere else in Las Vegas. The tree lined streets, circular driveways, ranch style custom homes, offer a quiet surburban lifestyle, while being onlt 5 minutes from the Vegas Strip and Downtown area.
