I raised my five children in Helena, Al 27 yrs ago when it was just one road and a few neighborhoods. Everytime I drive thru AL,I take the small detour thru Helena. It has become overpopulated in the last 10 yrs, yet offers everything a family would need. The best place to eat is just down the road-Fox Creek Restaurant. Great schools! Was the safest place to live in Ala a few years ago. I am moving soon..You guessed it, looking in Helena. Can't stand Georgia!
