Low crime if you are a man only.The violence against women in Charlevoix is shocking and the good ole mentality around town keeps women from speaking out about it.The area doesn't want the the tourists to be scared off. It shocked me and I am from a big city and daughter of a former police officer.So glad I moved away recently to a safer place.
