Hermosa Beach is well known for the fun, active party scene. It is encased with lots of 24 to early 30 something kids who love to hang at bars and spend many hours socializing. There is almost a college frat feel to the town with many meat market bars available as well as some more laid back scenes. Beach vollyeball is abundant with scantily clad girls. Great place to have a good time. Not so good for people who would like to start familites. The cost of housing is insane and the commute to the freeway is time consuming. However, the proximity to bars, restaurants, and groceries is fantastic. Good for singles who like to drink!
