Fremont County line is very close to Westcliffe, so this area of Cotopaxi has weather like Westcliffe. The Fremont County Sheriffs in this area are extremely corrupt, physically abusive (even to elderly women). This area is a very inexpensive way to live near Westcliffe, but no protection from anyone and no rights respected. County refuses to maintain roads yet increases taxes in 2009 after property values plummeted...... Don't consider this area!
