I lived there for 5 years and loved it. It is my favorite place I've ever lived and I lived in Honolulu amoungst other places. Would still be there if not for family considerations. It feels like Mayberry grown up and being a conservative city is a plus to me.

As has already been said, most Presconians are conservative. We believe in law and order, patriotism, the second amendment, etc. We've recently moved from California from a conservative city much like Prescott. We are right at home here. Your comments on you describe about half of the country are hate-filled and ignorant. We are Trump supporters and are pro-vaccine for most everyone, but we don't impose our views on others who may have anti-bodies or another medical reason for not getting the vaccine. Speaking of Trump, after nine months of the Biden catastrophe (Afghanistan, border, inflation, etc), we need President Trump or someone like him to lead us back to the greatness of this country. Remember, low inflation, high employment, great economy, etc.

I am confused about the dislike for conservatives. Is it their belief in the laws, Constitution or family values? Is it their belief in "right to life?" Not everything is about politics. If that is how you define your life, then it must suck. Prescott is a beautiful, fun place with lots going on. I just bought a lot and will be building a home here in a few years. Been visiting often and have found everyone to be extremely friendly and easy to talk to. I am looking forward to leaving california and moving to America, where personal liberty and responsibility still mean something!

Being retired law enforcement for 25 years, being shot at, spit on and called every name in the book but saving 5 lives I was looking for a place to purchase where the right wing survives. Literally I want to live near realists who believe in God Bless America, the National Anthem and saying Merry Christmas. This winter my wife and I will be there to search for real estate. I served as a sworn police officer for 25 years. Shy of being killed, I have been shot at, assaulted and been called every name in the book. I have been honored for saving 5 lives and earning numerous medals throughout my career. I dedicated weekends, holidays and overnights loyally serving my community. Right now in life I would rather be bear the right extremists. They are realists who believe in law enforcement and a better style of living. They are loyal people. This winter my wife and I will be looking for real estate in Prescott. You made my choice much easier. Remember right wing extremists are people you want as your neighbors. They will protect you and your property.
