Review of Vidor, Texas

Hot, humid, and hurricane-prone
Star Rating - 9/21/2008
This is a blue-collar town where a lot of the population is employed by the oil refineries. The town doesn't have much to offer except for some good, friendly people and a sub-tropical climate that makes it very green and lush. Unfortunately, it's also right on the Gulf coast, so we just weathered our second major hurricane in 3 years, so it's a little less green than before. It's too hot and humid here for my family, so we're looking to relocate somewhere where there are fewer bugs and hurricanes!
