Review of Lewiston, Maine

Positive Changes
Star Rating - 9/29/2008
The City of Lewiston has changed considerably over the years and has corrected many of the negative aspects that used to define it. While much of the neighboring areas have not yet fully realized this, local businesses, schools, and residents have all seen and felt the changes. Downtown had cleaned up, public theater is doing well, and business seems to be growing. The Androscoggin Chamber of Commerce is the perfect bellwether for this change. The chamber is active and growing which has a most positive influence on the area.
Having spent the past six years looking at the cities in Maine from a Californian's perspective, Lewiston is the place to be and where things are happening.
