Hi, Just wondering if you could offer more info. You mentioned that if you were "single and liberal", you might want to find someplace else. Well, I am definitely single and although I have never considered myself a liberal, I am NOT an ultra conservative. I am a single Mom of a 16 yr old boy. Would this be a place a 16 yr old boy would thrive? Any details would be great!! Thanks..

Why so? I am a single Mom and while I do not consider myself Liberal, I am not conservative. I am concerned about how good a place it would be for a 16 year old boy to make friends, socialize and be safe. Also, about what kind of life I could give us making barely 30k a year. Any advice would be great.
