This review is a decade old now, and 99% of everyone who has something negative to say about this town hasn't set foot in it for nearly 20 years. There were only 3 dinky casinos up the street years ago, now it's as big as Atlantic City, but much safer and much more affordable. I love it here and I never thought in my lifetime I'd be able to own a home in SoCal where it's always summer and I can be at the beach in minutes on foot. With all the medical marijuana dispensaries that have moved in within the last few years they've basically pushed all the meth heads out. The culture has changed for the better, and I couldn't be happier here. Houses at these prices won't last forever.
