It has very intelligent people, who are the very small minority, and very ignorant, low IQ people in the majority who care nothing about education or improving their intellect, who live in the sloth and slovenly ways generation after generation, and shut your filthy F spewing mouths. Their language profanity matches the way they CHOOSE, key word 'choose', to live and conduct their lives. They have the best Christmases there, one of the only shiny things, because the rest of the years there are so dingy and miserable, decade after decade. I have never seen a major city (which it once was) completely FAIL so badly at rejuvenation. They have very modern buildings in the suburbs that you won't find in places like NYC or large cities, but their inner city East side and downtown is a terrible-smelling, house of horrors. And it has gone on for many years. U will like the city proper only if you like rude people, nasty unsmiling faces of VERY unattractive-looking people, filth, degrading behavior, dirt, below zero temperatures and terrible smells.
