Rated one of the friendliest large cities to visit according to every travel magazine. Probably more about the attitude you have when approaching strangers. I have lived all over the country and I am more than happy with living here.

Pay no attention to those bitter reviews. It's a lot like NYC... If you come here out of college, you'll live in Center City, the second biggest central core after Manhattan and you'll never see the rough areas. Do Manhattanites run to the Bronx, or the not yet gentrified parts of Brooklyn?... uh... no. Google my name... post questions on Twitter. And I'm not a real estate agent. I just really like this place.
