The High School SUCKS

It is a good little town, and they do it up for games, homecoming, and Old Glory Days.
Now, let's talk about the schools, I will tell you this if you are not from a long line of Clintonians and you are not a Doctor or Lawyer or someone high up do not expect your kids no matter the talent to make the it far. Now let me tell you why I said this: I have had 3 kids go to Clinton schools and I have never been so disgusted by the blatant favoritism that goes on from the classrooms to the sports. Even when you bring it to the athletic director attention, and he just doesn't want to hear it deal with it, oh yeah he will lie to your face, as will the superintendent.
If you think your child will get coached by a man who treats his teenage players with respect, and that he won't lie to cover his arse and again favoritism and doesn't use the players as to their full potential, well I guess you know. This 2020 football season he threw a fit and went off his meds obviously as he was screaming, telling the kids hit him harder than next comment was don't hit him so hard he is just a little kid. He threw 3 seniors off the football team because he didn't get his way, and 3 other seniors walked and didn't play their last game which wasn't really a game just the pity game of the division. This coach is just awful. How the heck the director thinks he is so great is beyond at least 6 families. The 3 players whom he kicked off got called in the athletic director's office with the coach and the students repeatedly told them I want to call my parents. 3/4 times, these are 17 year old kids who didn't feel safe with the coach there to talk to the director. And the director told those kids no. They allow bullies from teachers and coaches, but lord help if one of those kids fight back.
So basically unless you live in the country there and don't have kids or grandchildren going to school there it's a nice place.
