Dolores is a very small town of less than 900 residents, and we live on the fringes of it. If you love privacy, beautiful surroundings, and can deal with the plow bills in the winter (roughly $1,000 - $1,200 per season) then you might just love it here. Also, unemployment in this county is one of the highest in the state of Colorado. Your best bet is to already have an established, mobile profession, or to have / start a home-based business.
