Review of Worland, Wyoming

Worland
Star Rating - 6/5/2007
Worland is a very tight and clicky town. I was born there but I was not raised there long. I left Worland almost 40 years ago and vowed to never return. The economy is agriculture and Oil & Gas oriented. There is/was very little to do for young people. It is hot there in the summer and cold in the winter due to its proximity to a river. It would not be my choice for a retirement town.

So you lived here as a young child? Hardly an objective viewpoint. Anyways, I don't know what you mean by nothing for young people to do. We, meaning my brothers and I, rode bikes, played basketball, had paper routes, active in church, etc. We also camped, hiked, fished and learned mountain climbing in the mountains the nearby mountains. A kid can play video games anywhere, but he can't experience the great outdoors as freely in most cities as he can in Worland.
