Living in Denver NC is definitely quite and a slower pace than I'm used to even though we don't have a Starbucks there is also not a lot of bars or very much crime. The schools in Lincoln County are great, with a child to teacher ratio about half of what we had in Charolette - Mecklenburg. It's a quite lifestyle but close to everything, about 15-20 minutes to Downtown Charlotte as well as Lake Norman each depending on where you live. We have two beautiful private golf courses Westport has housing on Lake Norman or the course, a fitness center with a full size swimming pool, zero depth kids play area as well as tennis courts. It took me a bit to get to the slower pace, however my kids loved it the minute we moved here. ??
