Review of Farmersville, California

Awful!
Star Rating - 7/22/2006
The whole of the central valley is becoming worse and worse by the day. The costs here (in the Visalia/Tulare/Exeter/Farmersville area) are worse even than the metropolitan areas of Fresno (to the north) and Bakersfield (to the south). Gas prices are, on average $.20/gal higher than in either of the metro areas nearby. Housing prices are skyrocketing, which is good for existing homeowners IF they can find a buyer. On top of that salaries are low for the rising economic situation and employers are reluctant to pay people what they are worth. Also, the air quality is decreasing rapidly from an already poor state and could possibly reach levels consistent with Los Angeles or San Francisco within the next 10 years.
If you are considering a move here, you will wish you hadn't in short order. Think again and find some place better to go.
