Hmmm ... I have visited Minneapolis and am somewhat aware of things to look for in a large city as I have lived in New York, Los Angeles, and Washington D.C. I do believe that Jerril's posting about the crime and drugs in Minneapolis being the worst in the country is an attempt to slow the flow of people relocating to the area that may eventually have a negative impact on the quality of life there. If I lived in a nice place and wanted to be protective of it, I just might do the same :-)
