Review of Naples, Florida

Heaven for rich retired white republicans
Star Rating - 7/4/2022
When I moved to Naples a few years ago an average one bedroom apartment cost 1000 a month to rent. Now the average one bedroom apartment is over $2200 and rising rapidly. This is despite the fact most jobs pay less than the national average unlike most major cities where it's the opposite. Even the best playing employers struggle to have enough employees due to it being so expensive relative to income. For instance, the police claim they can't hire enough police because police can't afford to live here. Tech companies like Arthrex claim they are short staffed because they will offer a qualified tech worker a job, they will see how much it cost to live here than decline. It's a hard right area, built for retirees, who don't offer any solutions that are likely to work to any issues down here.
