Depressing and Boring Schertz!

I have only lived in Schertz Two years but im beyond ready to leave this area as soon as my kid graduates. Ill just start by saying that there are NO jobs in the Schertz area and the pay scale in the whole San Antonio area no matter what profession you are in is the lowest I have ever seen anywhere. As for the so-called cheap cost of living, its not much different than most bedroom communities around Texas but the lack of pay here makes it worse than living somewhere that cost a little more to live. Next I don't see how people claim this place has a House or Building boom going on. Outside of a few small retail stores I have not seen anything built here that amounts to anything since ive moved here. Something else that sucks about this place is its beyond Boring! By Sundown every Evening this Town Rolls up the sidewalks. But there is no kind of Entertainment in this area anyway so I guess id doesn't matter unless you consider a Movie Theatre something special which pretty much every Town in America has. This place just doesn't have much going for it and never will as all the younger families seem to be moving to Cibolo, Austin or Northwest San Antonio. And outside of being a little newer, there still isn't a damn thing to do in Cibolo either. Schertz just seems to be slowly going downhill and ive seen it just since in the short amount of time ive lived here. Its just bad that im almost 40 and im bored out of my mind here, I don't care about all the Bars and Clubs but there is nothing here for anybody of any age. My suggestion would be to look at other Cities and areas of Texas to move too if you want to get anywhere in life or make a good living because its not going to happen out here or the San Antonio area in general, its just an old and dirty town full of people that are happy to make $15hr for the rest of their lives.
