Niagara Falls is a very dangerous city, backed up by corrupt politicians. Brick fights on the street are not uncommon. Even Buffalo makes fun of the dysfunction in Niagara Falls. No jobs and high taxes add to the mix. The cost of living is low though. Houses are cheap, but generally run down and property taxes are crushingly high. There is a new High School though. Anything worthwhile in the city has been run down. There is a new casino, but the only thing around it is a pizza hut and run down stores with bars on the windows. Niagara Falls Canada is the total opposite and is actually quite well run and safe.
