GLACIAL ARTESIAN TAP WATER GETS LOW WATER QUALITY
Star Rating - 10/1/2014
The ice age sent glaciers sweeping south, ending at what is the edge of the Missouri River. Independence, Missouri, has artesian water straight from this glacial melt deposited deep UNDER the Missouri River, unlike neighboring Kansas City. Having used Kansas City's Missouri River water, and then moving to Independence, I noticed I literally lost a layer of thick, lifeless skin and have never been healthier. Independence, Missouri, was rated in the top 5 of municipal water supplies in all of North America. Old copper water pipes from Indie simply have a fine, white mineral residue, and the ice is fantastic. Independence annexed lots of farm land and if you want a farmlet, there's plenty of great places to raise chickens and veggies. This town would make a great prepper hideaway. Let's recap. You won't be drinking recycled water that has pharmaceuticals in it; no reservoir for terrorists to poison; and you won't be drinking chemical-laden run-off. Plus the St. Ann's Fish Fry is to die for. What are you waiting for? Good deer hunting, fun fishing, great pecan and black walnut harvests, morel mushrooms, farmer's market full of organics, and man-made cave complexes for those who want to enjoy storage or business or life underground. Just put up motion-trigger deer cameras from Bass Pro Shop to keep out the riff-raff. Head east for a day trip to a low-sulfite, no-hangover winery or west into Kansas City for ethnic food and martinis. Don't wait until more people figure out this low-priced housing market is a steal with glacial water on tap. You'll see a lot of Trail of Tears Native Americans mixed with Hispanic-German-French-Irish Catholic, smaller, good-looking, stout-hearted folks. This is America's home town. And the law that three strikes/disturbance calls involving residents or their guests and they must move out of town is settling down once-rough neighborhoods. God bless this heartland American town.
