This is a nonsensical review, possibly some kid goofing around. I moved to the Asheville area from the NYC suburbs six years ago, and highly recommend this city. The natural beauty is stunning, and the culture is very impressive for a city of only 92,000. House prices are actually slightly below the national average (which is dirt cheap if you are coming from a major metro area like NYC).
According to the statistics, Asheville does have higher crime rates than most other NC cities, but I have never seen evidence of it in my personal life. It's a safe place to live, especially when compared to large cities. The major problem with Asheville is a lack of good-paying jobs, as there isn't much industry here.
