Hyattsville, Maryland is an affordable community in the Washington D.C. area. Additionally, public transportation options are abundant here and there is close proximity to a shopping mall, University of Maryland College Park, University of Maryland University College (many adult students in attendance), a highly ranked high school, and reasonably priced apartments . My husband and I moved here during the summer of 2010 and we both intend to permanently settle in the D.C. area. Hyattsville, Maryland is a good community to move to for a reasonable priced community within the D.C. area and great public transportation.
