As far as things to do, there is quite literally nothing to do here besides either joining a bowling league, fishing at one of the ponds that has yet to have a 'No  More

Thief River is a nice town, relatively untouched by the economic downturn plaguing the rest of the country. You can still find a pretty nice home here for around $100K  More
