La Pine & surrounding area are a hub for things to do & see in all directions. SOUTH is Crater Lake, of course. WEST is 66 mile loop (great for motorcycles) Cascade  More

Troutdale is a great place to live if you have to work in or near Portland. It is small with friendly people and the crime rate isn't as bad as other places close in.   More
