10/4/2008You are nor along. I moved to Houston 7 years ago , and I am still asking myself why did I make that stupid decision. This is a dead city. I read a comment about the great museums, and other places. I don't see any of that. There is nothing, nothing to do.

10/4/2008I have to agree with you. This is a lonely place. Many other people talk about stress and mean people. There are many ways to be mean and not caring is one of them. People here ignore things, pretend to be inside a bubble when the world keeps spinning around. I do not see what is so great about this city.

10/4/2008If you study the rapid growth of big cities and the high cost of living, impossible to afford between the middle class, you will find out that social distress is very common to happen. Research about cities like Los Angeles, Miami, and other big cities.

re: Reason for rudeness - 5/5/2006 -
10/4/2008As I said before, every city has good and bad things. I lived in Chicago for a long time and I enjoyed it. I moved to Houston 7 years ago and I regret every minute of my life for that decision. This city is dead. Nothing happens here. The only thing to do is eat, eat and eat more. It's full of restaurants, nothing else. Museums are small, Zoo even smaller, and no amusement parks. What is there to do? No wonder people gain so much weight.

10/4/2008Stree or not, there is always something to do. I moved to Houston and regret it. This is the most dull and boring city I have ever known.
