Lathrop, MO is a small city located in Northcentral Missouri. The city has a mayor-council government system with the mayor and four councillors serving to represent the interests of residents. The current mayor is Bob Anderson, who was first elected in 2018 and was re-elected in 2020. The City Council consists of four members: Mike Smith, John Johnson, Jeff Brown and Alice Turner. Council meets every second Tuesday of each month to discuss issues related to local services and development projects for Lathrop’s citizens. In addition to the Mayor and City Council, there are various administrative staff members who handle day-to-day operations of the city’s government affairs. Residents have the opportunity to participate in local politics by attending council meetings or voicing their opinions on matters that affect their community.
