Mansfield, OH is a city that is part of the greater Richland County area in north-central Ohio. The city has been led by two different mayoral administrations since its incorporation in 1828. Currently, Mayor Tim Theaker and the City Council are responsible for governing the municipality. The city council consists of seven members including the mayor who are all elected to serve four-year terms by local citizens. In recent years the city has become increasingly focused on providing resources and services to its constituents such as improved public safety, better infrastructure, and affordable housing. Additionally, municipal committees have been established to ensure fair representation from all parts of Mansfield's population. These committees include working groups that focus on particular interests such as education, business development, and civil rights initiatives. All of these efforts combined with strong leadership from elected officials have enabled Mansfield to move forward into a brighter future.
