| 5/23/2010 | other | This school is great i've been going here for about 7 years now and the teacers are great. We just got done our annual picnic and track and field day it is A VERY VERY good school to attend and we'll give yo a great St.Clements welcome. - Student of St.Clements Mary Hofbauer of Rosedale, MD |
| 3/20/2010 | student | The new principal is a bit of a joke. The education is average quality, but many teachers spend most of the class just talking to kids. I remeber when I attended this school most of my peers thought it was a joke; therefore little learning took place. |
| 11/7/2006 | student | I love this school this is my first year. I wish I could stay but I have to go to Bryn Mawr. The kids are wonderful. After my first week (I started late) I had 10 friends who invited me to go to skate land. The staff is wonderful and I love the principal. It is very relaxed and gym class is wonderful. Parents can say things but you have to be a student to really know. I recomend this school to everyone. I am in LOVE with THIS school. Hope to see your kids their! |
| 9/27/2006 | parent | My child has been going here for six years and I feel my child has had an excellent education. The faculty is wonderful. |
| 9/17/2006 | parent | I found the principal/ administration to be poor in quality and unwilling to work with me as a concerned parent. |
| 6/12/2006 | parent | There is no definitive leadership in this school. The principal is less than effective, and the staff does not do much to engage the learning process for children. Very disappointed in the educational experience that St. Clement offers on a variety of levels, and have since enrolled in another school. |
| 1/26/2006 | teacher | I have found St. Clement's to be a wonderful school. The teachers here are strict and fair and the entire staff is dedicated to the success of the students. They have many fun activities for the kids and go out of their way to be sure discipline is enforced. The curriculum is strong and any child can succeed here with all the help that is available to them. |
| 1/4/2006 | parent | I think the school is great! my son attended another catholic school prior to this one for two years, he is now been here for 3 years. I can't say enough about the teachers, they love the kids. The reading program k-3 is outstanding! if your child needs a little help with reading, they help. His other school did not seem to care about his needs. I know when i drop my son off in the morning he is safe until i pick him up in the afternoon. To sum things up my child is not a 'cookie cutter' child. St. Clements has done nothing but help him in every way he has needed help! i'm glad he has had the chance to have this experience. |
| 12/16/2005 | parent | My child began attening St. Clements in the 4th grade and upon graduation went on to public school for high school. We found that she was behind in English and Math. In the words of my child 'they were the most miserable 4 years at St Clement', and as a parent I can't agree more. Teachers were inconsistent in policy and always treated us like outsiders. I would never recommend this school. |
| 11/2/2005 | parent | I am very pleased with the school. My oldest son graduated a few years ago and he was well prepared for high school. He has achieved academic honors every quarter in high school. My younger son is still at St. Clement and is very impressed with the new state of the art computer lab and the band. His teachers can be tough but they are fair and always available to the students or parents if needed. I am sure that my younger son will be well prepared to go to high school as well. The fairly new principal has done a good job running the school and she has had huge shoes to fill with Sr. Michael being there before her for more than 20 years. I would be proud to recommend St. Clement School to any one looking for a great education for thier children. |
| 2/22/2005 | parent | I have been very happy with the school. My son was there when Sister Michael was at the school. It was different and change has come to the school. With the new principal the changes have been few,and some very good.We have a new computer lab going in this month, summer uniforms etc. I think most parents are happy with the school.I for one am very grateful that both of my children have attended St Clements school. |
| 2/19/2005 | parent | As a mother of five children I believe St Clements is extraordinary in many ways. The academics, teacher dedication, structure, discipline, religious instructions, and genuine caring atmosphere is more than I could ask for in a school. My hyper active child learned to read before he was 5 yrs old.Teachers helped me to stay on track of school progress. They made time to communicate with me, sometimes daily, via phone, in person, or written communication. They have always made themsevles available to me and my family. In todays society and unsafe public school atmosphere, I am thankful to God each day knowing my child is at St clements receiving quality education. As with everything in life, you will get out of it as much as you put in. I have developed wonderful relationships with faculty that let them know I am a concerned parent, not just at parent conference meetings, but everyday. |
| 1/20/2005 | parent | Sent my child to this school and was like throwing good money away. Finally had enough and of this schools approach to education and transferred to a public school. What a surprise to learn that my child was academically behind even thought we received good grades from this school. After one year of hard work now at the top of the class based on a much higher standard that the one set by this school. |
| 10/20/2004 | parent | The school had been a huge disapointment since the new principal came in. This school might be fine for most students, but if your child cannot keep up with the rest of the class, there are no special programs in place to help them. Very unfortunate for the children who need this. |
| 8/25/2003 | parent | My child has attended 2 other schools but St. Clement is by far the best. The principal is always available for parents and frequently can be seen in the halls. Their procedure for drop off and pickup is extremely well organized. The safety measures in place for the students are strictly inforced. I never have to worry about the safety of my child. Everyone seems to know everyone else and is friendly which makes for a nice atmosphere for the children to learn. Attendance is also strictly inforced. The curriculum is challenging. I feel that my child is getting the best education I can provide. The teachers care about the students and are skilled in taking advantage of each child's strengths. They quickly pinpoint if there is a problem. I love this school. |
