I lived there for over 20 years. It lacks some of the big city attractions, but also lacks some of the big city headaches. The West Point Market is a super positive about the city and its residents are generally very accepting and pleasant. We miss a lot of things about this city, but we do not miss the long and drawn out autumn/winter months when the sun hardly shines. We live in northern Wisconsin now; colder, but sunnier and much more scenic. Every place has its trade offs.
