I've lived here for 4 years; moved from Philadelphia. The weather is great and so are the sunsets - breathtaking! A little too dry though for me. Dirt flies everywhere! Lots of outside stuff to do, so if you like to hike and take pictures this is a good place for that. I also enjoy the festivals and activities in the city. The downtown area is very easy to navigate and get to without being scared of running over a pedestrian. However, the city planning is horrible. There are WAY too many houses going up, yet no roads being built to accomodate everyone. When the city does construction, they do it on every road at the same time, so traffic backs up everywhere. It's very hard to make new friends, especially if you're single b/c most people hang out in cliques or w/ their family (or gang). The amount of violence is unbelievably high for such a small city. And some of the WORST drivers are out here. The cost of living went up when I moved out here, except for rent on my apartment. However, the pay is way low. It's no wonder there are so many low-income families. Education is the worst in the US! I can't wait to get out of this city...except it sucks you in and you can't afford to leave.
