If you need a dry climate for health related conditions this is the place! It isn't as hot and overly dry as Arizona and it isn't as polluted. You can spend most of the year outdoors. It is beautiful here and there are a lot of state parks. If you love to ski then there is only a short drive to nice skiing. The people are very friendly and life isn't at the pace of let say New York!
