I have lived in Austin for three years now. 1st let me say the public eductional system here is horrible. If you have enough money to put your children in to a private school do it, however it has been my experience Austin's private sector is too prejudice. Nowhere have I ever witnesses the haves and the have nots like here in the capital of Texas. They talk of community, but the only community here is for the upper class and the homeless. They cut budgets like local swimming holes, but give elected officials 2.5% pay increases. COME ON! As a proud Texan I must admit Austin is a disgrace to all of texas. The traffic here is bad, but I can a lot for too many drivers in too small a space. It is the illegals who can't read, the police who don't police, the self serving ass who thinks they are better therefore cut people off in order for me to let yu go first, Every one thinks he is the line leader and they are ruder than most yankees. That makes me sick. I go to mass where Father talks of St. Paul's message of love , but in the parking lot it is a rat race to get out, no matter who you are they cut off. The same is on the highways; the ignorant people who are so self serving that basic traffic laws are ignored in favor of year model and make. Austinites, you aren't weird, you are rude and you excuse it because you are asses,
