Austin is floundering in the mass transit aspect because it has inept leaders at Capital Metro, which is supposedly running a new "Light Rail" that goes from one NW part suburb to downtown. 75% of Austinites drive anyway, most for about 20-25 minute commutes. It could be so much better here.
