My wife and I have been here since 1972, and the area has grown many times the size it was then. While the rapid growth has caused problems with increased traffic congestion, the city is really more interesting now than it was then. Lots of interesting shopping and recreation. Topography of the area to the west is beautiful with the Central Texas hill country. The main problem is the hot, humid summers with no rain. Good air conditioning in your home and cars is a must. Winters are very mild, though, sometimes barely going below freezing mark.
