Quality of life vs. Bay Area

We moved here two years from the SF Bay Area (Los Gatos). I can't believe that you don't rate Austin higher than you do. Compared to the Bay Area, where I lived most of my life, the quality of life here is WAY better. The air is cleaner, the people are universally MUCH friendlier, the cost of living is much lower, and it's by far the best place I've ever seen to raise kids. I'm only sorry we didn't move here sooner.
