Running to stand still...

I moved from Austin to the Seattle/Tacoma area via Arizona 2 yrs ago. I absolutely love Austin and Texas, they are in my heart. You will definitely love running downtown...near Lake Austin. You can even make a stop at the famous bat cave where millions of bats sleep overnight under a bridge. Anyhow, I used to run downtown bc it was so beautiful and people actually remember pedestrians have the right of way. Texans are friendly and doubly so in Austin, Texas. Yes traffic is bad but where isn't it? The city, people, food and music make up for any humid-hot weather, of which there is plenty. Check out Dario's, a little Mexican taqueria that will make your mouth water. It's on the infamous "east" side but man can he cook! Bottom line, I would recommend anyone moving to Austin and I plan on being one of those people (move back) once I finish my PsyD here in Seattle. Peace out and I hope you move to AUSTIN! If it's good enough for Matthew McCouneghey and Lance Armstrong why not you!
