Central Texas Relocation

Austin seems to be the gold standard. Every book, magazine, blog, etc screams about how great this city is...and yes it can be true. At times, Austin borders on the sublime. It is unlike any place in America. But, if you are over the age of 30...well it might not be for you. Austin is beautiful. Austin is vibrant. Austin is a breath of fresh air. Austin is youth personifed. Don't kid yourself...soccer moms and PTA meetings don't mesh well in this amazing city of young people potential. Central Texas is superior to many places, but I would suggest San Antonio as a place to live for the 30+ crowd. Austin is the place that every middle-aged 30-somethinfg wished they had discovered earlier. Visit nearby Austin as a weekend getaway. Austin is simply an amazing city, but don't kid yourself into thinking you are younger than you are..enjoy it for its beauty from nearby. San Antonio is the soccer mom, minivan, PTA meeting, subdivision next-door-neighbor to Austin. They have a nice symbiotic relationship that works as sister cities.
