A few things I love about Austin

Hello. I am a mother of 2 young girls. I am originally from Michigan, and just moved to Austin, and I love it! :-) Austin is a great place to raise children and as far as I can tell the school systems are ahead of the curve. I know I haven't been there long enough to have a natives perspective, but I can already tell that Austin is a city I look forward to spending many quality years in. There is always something fun going on for all ages and theres a great music scene downtown. One great resource to get a feel for what's going in Austin is "austinchronicle.com" And not to mention the sun is always shining! And renting in a nice area is very reasonable for all the great places you can walk to right outside your front door. :-)
