Of course the summers are hot in Austin, but the weather is lovely for the most part. Winter seems to last only two weeks and you rarely see any snow, certainly accumulations are rare. Although Austin has it's rainy weeks, you will enjoy mostly sun-drenched days. The heat is not a problem since air conditioning is everywhere.
