Review of Boone, North Carolina

Questions for Residents of Boone
Star Rating - 7/9/2007
I am a young professional guy looking around for a more healthy and friendly place to live than my current home of Phoenix, AZ. I just read about Boone in Outside Magazine. Are there many social and business opportunities in Red Lodge or would I be bored out of my skin? How is the weather? Please give my your thoughts. Thanks!

Boone is friendly and the population is half college students. Jobs are limited and depend on your skills. Never heard of Red Lodge. Weather is MUCH colder than Phoenix with 4-5 warm months.
