Charlestown a waterfront town within the City of B
Star Rating - 9/15/2006
Charlestown is an old waterfront town that has been part of Boston since the late 1800s, but still thinks of itself as semi-indepenent. It is an old community of long time residents, but with many new comers attracted to the waterfront and converted navyard.

Walking distance or quick bus ride to downtown also make C-town attractive as gas and parking costs rise.

But what makes it great is that old timers ("Townies")and newcomers live together and work things out. usually!
