Lots of druggies here, very few jobs and what jobs there are are very low paying. Very "clannish" and you have to know someone from here to get along. This community is very small minded, unfriendly to outsiders and very backward. I was told that before I moved here and chose not to listen to the advice. If allergies don't bother you where you live now they will if you move here. If you want to move to Texas DON"T MOVE HERE-go to Austin instead.

People in Austin are rude and unfriendly, too, unless you're one of the young and hip. And traffic is as bad as Houston's (4th largest city in U.S.). Most small towns are not open to outsiders. Brenham is pretty friendly, for a small Texas town.
