My mother lived in this town for years, and I decided to try it out. My" try" lasted a whole 4 months! There's got to be something in the water in this town! People are so bad! Teen pregnancy runs rampid, drug use is huge, and the traffic is hell (especially during winter months while the "snowbirds" are visiting. Did I forget the summer weather? 120F easy every day for months; you have no reason to leave your a/c during the day. It's miserable! Decent health care? HAHA! Wanna find it? Take a 100 mile or so roadtrip to Las Vegas! My brother was in an accident on his motorcycle there, and they had to airlift him to Vegas! My mother had some medical issues that stumped the medical community of BHC and she FINALLY got a Vegas doctor to diagnose and treat. Amazing! I think maybe the heat fries people's brains here. If you want to move here, DON'T! If you do, stay away from the natives!
