Cleveland is a depressing place to live, i am from NYC - this is the only city I have lived where the first thing people say is "Why would you want to live here"? that pretty much says it all. i agree totally with the other poster about the west and east side. And to expand on that, I hate shaker heights! These are the most phoniest elitist people you will ever meet, the minute I say I am from NY they put on this air that they are so sophisticated and wordly. They change their voices and start talking through their noses. This is a place full of wannabes. Its a dump, can't find decent work the salaries suck, the people have no personalities - it is the stalest place I have ever been I have travelled internationally. My ex is from here so we moved here when we had our daughter. I am relocating in the summer.
