Sorry some people do not like...

I'm sorry to hear that there are people who do not like this city. I grew up in the suburbs of Cleveland. I had the privilige of going to Indians games in the summer, and Browns games in the Fall/winter. I also enjoyed some of the best music ever, from blues, to rock. Lets also mention all the fairs and festivals that are free in the summer; from the Cleveland Rib Burn Off, to the Feast of the Assumtion in Little Italy. St. Patricks Day parade is also a well known event, that the local schools are closed to celebrate!
Do they do this all over? Raleigh? Charleston? Charlotte?
These cities do not even come close... so you think you might be happier with nicer weather? Weather may be better, but what good is it if you have nothing to do. I have to say, I moved to Cary/Raleigh 5 years ago. Not much to do, No music, (only if you like family friendly, for this bible belt city) Summer fairs and festival don't happen here. Only 1-2 a year and you do not even know about it because they don't advertise. Also, it is very, very hot here. I cannot wait to leave here, and find a more interesting city that has some flavor.
